Is there a fix for Botox creating additional forehead lines? (Photos)

Question

I had Botox 3 months ago for 11 lines and little horizontal lines between my eyes. That deep line that starts in the middle of my eyelid and go up the forehead was created by the Botox. There is a matching one on the other side. First of all, how does this happen? Would the doctor not want to correct this for me? Secondly, it’s not fading. Is there a fix to this? Thank you.

Thank you for your question. The crease may be fixed with additional Botox treatments. It is possible that you need more to treat the area. Botox can also be used in combination with dermal fillers, which can help soften lines in the glabellar furrow. Dysport may be another option as it is known as it works in a slightly different fashion from Botox. It is always best to consult with an experienced, qualified injector to understand your options and discuss a personalized treatment plan.

Botox results last up to 3 to 4 months and can be softened with Venus Legacy and Thermage treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Yes it can be fixed it appears that you need more and it hard to know how many units you had to begin with but you should always go back to your injector two weeks after injection if you are not happy with your results.
