The picture says it all- I have a larger skin area than my forehead needs, lol, thus causing me to be in one of the two face positions- either I lower my brows that make my eyebrows very saggy, or I lift them and then this wrinkle that I think consist of skin and maybe fat, appears. I'm 31 now please recommend non surgical and effective solutions for reducing the size of the skin. I had it as a child also but then it was very minor and subtle, like a little bump.
Answer: Forehead Reduction Hello, hope you are well. There is a straightforward procedure for your situation called a forehead reduction. However, this is a surgical procedure that involves making an incision along the hairline. The only way to remove skin non-surgically is with a procedure called Ellacor. This is micro-coring of the skin to tighten and lift, but it is not as powerful as surgery. Best, Dr. Tower

Answer: There is no effective non-surgical solution Hello, Your forehead height is long, and your forehead muscles are active. As you age, the folding of the skin caused by muscle movement becomes more noticeable. The best solution for this is a forehead reduction surgery. Botox treatments can relax the muscles, but this will also make your forehead appear longer. Unfortunately, there is no effective non-surgical solution

Answer: Brow lift surgical versus non-surgical Hello and thank you for your question! There are two main surgical procedures in this region - hairline lowering surgery and brow lifts! I like to separate these into two questions. Do you want your resting eyebrow elevated and do you want your resting hairline to be lowered? If you want the brows to be elevated at rest, then you should consider a browlift. If you want the hairline to be lower at rest, then you should consider hairline lowering surgery. You can also have both of these procedures if you wish for both the hairline to be lowered and for your brows to be elevated. However, your question is about non-surgical solutions and that is where botox comes in. Consider the dynamic function of your forehead or how much it moves and wrinkles when you raise your brows. Botox will paralyze the frontalis muscle (muscle that raises your eyebrows) and will help with your forehead wrinkles when you are elevating your brow. Another use for botox is for a "chemical browlift" which is putting a small amount of botox under your eyebrow to help raise it slightly. I think this botox combination would be great for you to try with minimal risks. Unfortunately, there is no non-surgical way to remove forehead skin. I would find a reputable med spa or plastic surgeon in your area for this procedure. I hope this helps and good luck deciding!

Answer: Forehead tightening Excess skin is usually best addressed with surgery, but there are some noninvasive options. Botox can treat the wrinkles when animating, but isolated forehead botox may drop your eyebrows; often frownline and forehead botox is preformed together. Skin tightening with nonsurgical devices like Sofwave may help stimulate collagen, also chemical peels can tighten the skin.

Answer: How to lower high forehead There is no other solution to reduce high forehead except by removing extra skin. In your case an open, hairline brow lift, including removal of 2-3 cm of skin would improve mild brow asymmetry and correct the lengjt of forehead. Scar is placed along the hairline and is practically invisible. Good luck.
