The hyaluronic-acid based dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, Restylane Silk, and Volbella can help you achieve the symmetry and volume you desire. Depending on where you want the most volume and where the least, you could sculpt your upper lip by layering different fillers, as they have different properties. Volbella and Restylane Silk are best for restoring symmetry and making subtle changes. Juvederm adds more dramatic volume. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will let you achieve the look you want.

Lip augmentations with fillers (volbella, restylane, juvederm) would be a great option to improve the fullness and suppleness of the lips. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising.

Hi, I believe a small amount of filler to the lower edge of the lower lip would help restore some symmetry. I do not think you need substantially more volume without it looking overdone.

Fillers are a great way to help add volume and symmetry to the lips and typically results last 6-12 months. As HA fillers are not permanent you can have it dissolved with hyaluronidase if unhappy with the results. Hi Squinty_eyes, We have to be careful with placement of lip fillers because you already have nice lips. Your injector may suggest Volbella or Refyne. Refyne produces the  least swelling and natural looking results.All the best,Justin Harper, M.D.
