I would like my upper lip - not only to be more symmetrical - but also a bit fuller. when I smile my upper lip dissapears and from the side my upper lip is hardly as prominent as my bottom lip. Can a filler help me achieve this look? And can it help restore the symmetry?

Answer: Lip injections for African American woman?
Dear Goldengirl,Thank you for your question.
You have very beautiful lips.
This is a case that just requires hylase injected in the right spot, with the right dose. So fret not. Visit an experienced injector to have it fixed.Hope this helps.
Hello, Great question if there is calcification due to trauma/hematoma or calcium in product, may see traces of product. Is there a particular filler that was used or personal experience or just curious? Thank you for the question, Dr Violetta Mailyan.
A hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an injection of Vitrase. If you have significant swelling or bruising it can take a bit longer for it to go away. Please consult a board certified dermatologist who has experience with cosmetic injections with lip injections. Best, Dr. Green
