I'm 20 yrs old and I've never had a cosmetic procedure done before. I want to get a few things done but I think I want to work on my lips first because I noticed that my top lip has already started to droop. Do you think I need 2 syringes to get full lips? (I don't really know what I'm talking about but it seems like a lot of people aren't happy with only 1) If you have any suggestions about other cosmetic procedures that would benefit me I would love to hear them! Answer: Lip fillers Hi,Thank you for including your photograph. In the long run, fillers are not the answer if you think the length between the base of the nose and the lip is too long. A lip lift procedure is more appropriate. My philosophy on lip fillers is to go slow. As a point of reference, if you want to go from the lips you have to Kylie Jenner lips, it will take about 6-8 syringes spaced out over several months. I would NOT use more than 1 syringe on your first session for both psychological and physiologic reasons. You are attractive and only 20 years old, I would not be in a rush to get a bunch of other procedures done. Mehdi Sina, MD

Answer: How many syringes of lip fillers do you think I need? Based on your photo I think you will do just fine with one syringe, if it’s only the upper lip you are concerned about. You can start with one and add another syringe if necessary.
