I lost 15 pounds and 16 inches on a 80 day program. Which has worsened my puffy under eyes and caused sunken mid face which has aged me. I also had fine lines develop corner of eyes / under eyes and smile lines which I believe is due to volume loss and tanning . I quit tanning and have been doing cleanser , moisturizer, and sunscreen daily. This is effecting my mental health as i feel so much older. Do i need a face lift? Im only 27.
Answer: Volume loss Congratulations on your weight loss. It is important to let your body and face stabilize with the weight loss for the next few months. If still unsatisfied, you should consult with your local experts to discuss volume replacement with fat transfers or hyaluronic acid fillers.

Answer: Facial Filler Thank you for your question. You do not have enough loose skin to warrant a facelift. Generally speaking, 27-years-old is far too young to get a facelift procedure. Based on your photos, I think you would obtain a nice result from dermal fillers. Properly placed facial filler in the cheeks will accentuate the cheeks and can even help to pull up slight lines around the mouth, giving your face an overall rejuvenated look. I recommend setting up a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best of luck!

Answer: Weight Loss Shows in the Face At 29 you are too young for a facelift. You lost volume in your face from the weight loss. You have a few options, there are hyaluronic fillers, or for longer lasting would be fat transfers. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Facelift candidate I don't recommend a facelift at this time, because you don't have enough skin laxity. I would recommend volume enhancement using a number of techniques ranging from fat to synthetic fillers which will help symmetry. Once facial aging progresses to skin laxity and dissent, I recommend a micro or many facelift. I actually have found that patients who get treated surgically sooner end up looking better longer. Sincerely, Philip J. Miller, MD, FACS Double Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: I lost a lot of weight quickly what can I do for my face? A quick weight loss can create a deflation in the face, but if you are young and have good skin quality, it may improve with time. Just make sure you are not dehydrated. The best way to replace the facial volume for you would be by fat grafting. You just have to make sure that you don't regain the weight. Obviously the fillers are effective as well but they would need to be done every 6 months or every years and that could be expensive at your age. Your picture show minimal facial laxity, but I think a facelift is not indicated in your case. You really would need to be examined to get a valid answer.
