Your picture shows great results. The slight bunching of the skin behind your earlobe, normally corrects itself within a month. Your face will become smoother with time. You really need a minimum of a month to more and less see your final results. Please be patient and be happy.

Everyone heals in different ways. It depends on what the lump represents. If the surgeon has used special stitches or special techniques this may affect the way you heal.

Surgery is an invasive procedure. This means that the tissues are touched and interrupted from the surgery and will need time to recover. As this is your 4th day post op, I would recommend you to wait until your full recovery. for the skin smoothness. The tissues will soften up by time. 

It is completely normal for the lumpiness you have to be present and may last days to weeks following any face lifting procedure. Although it is difficult, try to be patient and of course let your surgeon know of your concerns. Good luck

You are doing great for 4 days post op. It may take several weeks for the swelling and lumps to resolve. Everyone heals at a different rate. Try to be patient and follow your surgeons post operative instructions. Good luck.

4 days after a mini facelift operation is a very early stage in the healing process. What you are concerned about should improve quite a bit in the following weeks and months. Wow-4 days out from a mini lift you look fantastic !!  Send my commendations to your gifted surgeon!!  100% of patients following a facial rejuvenation procedure, such as you have enjoyed-will have asymmetry and a few lumps, lasting for 3 to 6 weeks.  Depending on the extent of surgery performed, some may have lumpy asymmetry for 2-4 months-this is typical and nothing to be unduly alarmed about.  Ice and head elevation will become your friends in recovering from the surgery, so follow your fabulous surgeon's post-operative swelling reduction protocols-and anticipate your much deserved spectacular result !!

Thank you for your question.You are very early in the healing process and typically the swelling gets worse the second week then starts to improve. The contours will even out for you over the next few weeks. Stay patient and good luck healing.

At 4 days, it is still very early in the recovery phase. The lumpiness will usually resolve at 4 -6 weeks. Be patient and the time will pass faster:)
