As you can see my nose is quite of centre with a large bump in the middle this causes my eyes to look sunken And beady would reducing my nose hump and shape fix this or would I require other surgery if so what would you recommend?
Answer: How does a rhinoplasty effect the shape of the face? Hi,The nose is the centre of the face and it does attract a lot of attention. It also is one of the foundations of facial proportion and the nose will then add to or detract from other features. The perfect balance is going to based on proportion and this defines the ideal length and shape of the nose to allow the other features to appear in harmony.A large nose often makes the eyes and mouth appear small and addressing this can alter the appearance of other facial features simply by allowing them the ability to be features.Assessment of the options is the key and from there a decision regarding surgery is going to be possible.I hope that helpsJeremy Hunt

Answer: Facial balance and rhinoplasty After reviewing your photos, I think that you are a perfect candidate for surgical rhinoplasty. By removing your dorsal hump and de-projecting the nose (shortening), I think your facial balance will be greatly improved. An in-office physical examination would be necessary, but I believe you may also benefit from a chin implant. I recommend seeking out a Board-Certified plastic surgeon who will accurately examine your nose, create a "simulation" that will allow you to see what your nose COULD look like after surgery, and formulate a plan tailored to your wishes. Good luck!

Answer: How does a nose job affect the rest of your face? Dear psycho2085In my experience, a rhinoplasty can bring great balance to you face by de-emphasizing your nose and making your eyes, cheeks and lips appear more noticeable. You appear to have a prominent cartilagenous dorsum that can be shaped nicely to give you a great profile. Although it would require an exam, based on my experience over the years, you would be at high risk for internal nasal valve collapse with rhinoplasty. I suggest a consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon to fully understand the surgery in general and risks specific to your case. I always suggest more than one consult so you can make an informed decision.

Answer: My comments You are an excellent candidate for male reduction rhinoplasty to shave down the hump, improve the alignment and de-rotate the tip; tip reduction and a slight shortening are also suitable.
