Very gaunt face makes me look like a drug addict. How can I go about filling in my lower cheeks? (Photo)

There are excellent options for filling the lower facial areas.  The options are fat transfer, Sculptra, or Voluma.  All will provide excellent results.  The quickest results are from the latest syringe based filler, Voluma,  Sculptra has been around for some time and provides volume to the areas by stimulating collagen production, the results come in weeks to months, with more than one treamtment seesion typically required.The attached link and website provides more information.I hope this helps.

There are three good ways to address the cheek and cheekbone. The first way is to inject fillers into that area. Fillers can last anywhere between six months to two years depending on the type of filler you use.The second ways to use injected fat. The fat is harvested from other parts of your body and then injected into certain areas. This fat theoretically can last indefinitely. However the amount of fatty issue that lasts can be variable.The third ways to place a submalar or malar cheek implants. This way can be the most permanent and have the most reliable results. However this way requires an operating room and anesthesia.I would have an in office consultation with someone who can help you decide which is best for you and to see if any intervention at all is needed.

The photo you submitted doesn't show your full face, so I can't really see the "gauntness" that's causing you so much anxiety. The best method to fill in the submalar/lower cheek area is with fat injections. They can be placed very precisely and in the desired amount. The only question is how much they will survive.

Your face does not appear extremely gaunt in the photo provided, and a better set of photos would be helpful. (Front view and side view).   That said, Sculptra is a great product for facial fat loss.  It would need to be performed 2-3 times and lasts about a year.  Research it.  Voluma is another product which will add volume to a thin face.
