I have a long and thin face and some times my cheek get sunk inside.i am thinking of fat fillers or cheek transplant.can you tell me that i need a correction in my jaw line(to make it look wider).what you suggest?
Answer: Facial Contouring with Fillers (Juvederm Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Radiesse, Bellafil), Sculptra, Fat Grafting, Implants Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Volumizing Fillers Work Well For Creating A More Masculine Face: Strong Jawline, Prominent Chin, Prominent Forehead I am no longer a fan of fat injections, having stopped using this technique 20 years ago. Fat transfer requires surgical interventions, one to extract the fat from the buttocks, thighs or belly, and the other, using large bore cannulas, to reinject the fat into the face. Unfortunately, despite the theory that fat taken from one part of the body would stay around for a long time when injected into another part of the body, the theory didn't seem to consistently pan out. To boot, the procedure was expensive and had a well-recognized downtime of significant swelling and bruising. Today we are fortunate to have an ever-growing variety of sophisticated, off-the-shelf injectable volumizers and fillers that can be used instead of fat.The photo provided suggests that the longish appearance of the face can be broken up by accenting the cheeks a bit--not too much, however, so as not to create feminizing high cheekbones. I would use Voluma XC for this purpose in my Upper East Side Manhattan office and Emervel Volume and Stylage XXL in my Israel satellite facility where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved volumizers and fillers are available. The chin and forehead both appear fine in frontal view. To strengthen and masculinize the angle of the jaw and jawline I would suggest the combination of Radiesse and Perlane L in the U.S. and Restylane SQ and Emervel Volume in Israel. It would be wise to seek out a board certified aesthetic physician with extensive experience and expertise in treating men.

Answer: Facial shaping We now have an excellent, safe and long established line of products for facial re-shaping and I have gotten away from fat injections for most patients in favor of these products. The results are more predictable, can last for years and patients are very happy when performed correctly in the right candidates. Radiesse, Sculptra and Voluma are usually the products of choice and are used separately or in combination (off label). Seek out an expert injector, board certified, that can review your options and explain benefit of each of these products. There is an art and finesse in shaping the face so experience here is key but in my opinion, surgical treatment for these conditions has really become a thing of the past, except for patients with significant bony deformities or traumatic injuries. Best of luck!

Answer: Long, thin face, sunken cheeks? I see slight flattening in your upper cheeks, and a prominent tear trough groove. In my opinion, your chin is already quite strong, masculine and attractive. Instead of what you had in mind, I would simply recommend a little hyaluronic acid filler like Voluma, Radiesse or Juvederm Ultra Plus to your upper cheeks and some Restylane to your tear trough. Widening the jawline a little, may balance out the length of your face, but if you want to try this (widening your jawline), I recommend a temporary filler first like Radiesse or Juvederm to the angle of the mandibles on both sides. Better to see how it looks with the filler before committing to the possible permanence of fat transfer or implant.

Answer: REVIEWS PICTURES VIDEOS MORE I have a long and thin face. How can I make it fuller? Plastic surgery in men is a bit tricky as you will need someone who has a good flow of men to help you so that you don't end up with a more feminine look. Having said that I would advise with fat filling in the central cheeks and the mandibular angles. This would help give you a wider face with more masculine features. Of course upon personal examination some other things could come up as the examiner will have a better assessment than a photo viewer.best of luck,Shady Hayek, M.D.Beirut, Lebanon
