Does the photo look like a nodule or extra fat from fat grafting? I am 2 months out. (photos)

Thank you for your pictures and questions.  What your are describing can be a little of all three.  Fat tends to feel a bit softer than scar tissue or nodules.  You also still have some residual swelling it appears from the photos.   In any case, these all tend to improve with time and gently massage a couple times per day. Good luck and make sure you follow up with your surgeon. 

Massage, ultrasound, radiofrequency treatments or injections with corticosteroids can help.  I suggest speaking to your physician or coming in for a consultation.  Targeted liposuction of this area is not the best idea in my opinion.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your pictures.  I would recommend massage of those areas.  Secondly, I would recommend waiting.  Time may resolve these issues.

If the area is soft it is probably fat. If firm might be a nodule. Time and massage for both for now. Show to your surgeon.

This appears to be a small lump of fat.  I would first recommend observation and gentle massage to see if it resolves.  If after 6 months it is still present, a low concentration steroid injected into the area will help.  Finally, targeted microliposuction can remove the fat in these areas. 

It appears by the photo that there is still residual swelling.  I would give it a total of 6 months to settle down.  I do find that fat transfer of under eyelids takes longer to heal compared to other areas of the face.  Consult your surgeon for additional follow up care.Best of luck!Dr. Windell Davis Boutte'
