Hello, I had a reverse T tuck 5/2022. My section above the belly button seems looser than below and when I sit, it puckers. It’s been like this since I had my procedure but I’m told nothing can be done. Any recommendations

Answer: Reversed tuck The reverse tuck is limited as you can now see. However, the excess vertical skin can be excised with a vertical incision and still be safe to the blood supply of the skin. The scar would go up higher than the tuck. You could also try minimally invasive skin tightening like Renuvion.

Answer: Loose skin after Reverse Tummy Tuck. I'm not sure why you're being told that there is nothing that can be done? There are almost always things that can be done. In your case, that vertical roll can easily be fixed with a minor in office skin resection, using your existing vertical scar. This will tighten the scar in the horizontal direction. If you're looking for tightening in the vertical direction, that would involve either a Reverse Tummy Tuck revision or a full Tummy Tuck. There are definitely options.
