Hi, I had my 3rd child via C-section 13 months ago. I had a tummy tuck and muscle repair in 2019. I'm 120lbs 167cm age 37. I have a lot of crinkle texture skin when sitting or bending. I do not have a pouch but I do have tension on the scar which causes an indentation. Do I need a revision and what can improve my skin texture please
Answer: Crinkle texture skin Dear Fabulous5634, I understand your concern. Based on your photos, it looks like you can try non surgical methods to tighten skin on your abdomen. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Abdominoplasty revision Thank you for your question. Even after a tummy tuck, it would be expected that you have some skin excess (which creates wrinkling) when you bend forwards, otherwise you would struggle to stand up straight! You may be able to try some non-surgical skin tightening treatments to help with the appearances. The more immature scar from your C-section looks a little stretched and perhaps hypertrophic - this could be revised if you wished, but I would leave it 18 months to allow the scar to fully mature and reach its final appearance before making that decision.

Answer: Skin texture From the photos it doesn't appear that a full revision would be necessary. You may try nonsurgical options such as Morpheus8. RF technology and microneedling are combined in this treatment to improve overall skin tone and texture. Three sessions are recommended for optimal results.
