Thanks for your question and the photo you provided. I would recommend scar treatment with Kenalog injections and possible scar camouflage tattooing. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with hypertrophic scarring.

I think the most important feature of a great tummy tuck is not having a visible belly button scar. I always try to hide the scar inside the belly button whenever possible. In your case, it looks like your scar was pretty well placed, but your body is just making too much scar tissue. The options to improve the appearance is scar revision as already mentioned or Steroid shots. Steroid shots help your body reabsorb some of the scar tissue, thinning and flattening the scar. This is usually very effective. The main risk is of loss of pigmentation. To avoid this, I would use a relatively dilute concentration and plan 2-3 sessions.
