Costs of plastic surgery depend on the location, how expensive your area is in general, and also the reputation and experience of your plastic surgeon. You can call a few surgeon offices in the area, and most should be able to give you a cost estimate (or a reasonable range) for what you're looking for. Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified. I've attached a link where you can start your search. In our practice, this typically costs around $5000.
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on yourphotograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. Make sure you specifically look at before and afterpictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeonand not just a computer animation system. The most importantaspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seekconsultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluateyou in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Your nose has great symmetry, and the structure proportionally suits your face very well. If you are uncomfortable with the way your nose looks, I would recommend leaving your bridge alone. If you were looking to change the bottom of your nose without much or any change to the bridge, you could look to have a tip rhinoplasty. Tip rhinoplasty is less invasive than rhinoplasty, and can sometimes be performed without general anesthesia, so it can be a much less expensive surgery compared with standard cosmetic rhinoplasty procedures. You have a slight bulge around your tip that could be reduced with tip rhinoplasty, but you may find non-surgical rhinoplasty could work just as well for you.Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses fillers to add shape and definition to the nose, but unlike surgical rhinoplasty which is permanent, the results only last a year or two. It is difficult to say for sure, judging from these photos alone, but considering that your nose is not large, you might find satisfaction with some injections around the tip to smooth out any bumps and possibly near the radix between the eyes to restore balance. These procedures range in price. Standard cosmetic rhinoplasty with anesthesia often cost $7000+, while tip rhinoplasty ranges from $3500+. Non-surgical rhinoplasty ranges in price depending on how much fillers are used, which in your case would probably be a small volume. You might expect to pay $800-2000 depending on many factors.
When changing one aspect of the nose- the rest of the elements will have to be addressed. You appear to be a good candidate for a Complete Rhinoplasty to address your nose in its entirety. It can be achieved through a closed technique-without a scar across your columella. Rhinoplasty is a very unique, challenging operation that has to be performed by a Rhinoplasty Expert. In the right, experienced hands- I predict you can expect a very pleasing result. Prices vary from Region to Region, experience of a Surgeon, and many other factors. Keep in mind in this process the most important step- is finding the best and most qualified Surgeon- not the cheapest surgery.. I personally would recommend staying with American Board Certified Plastic Surgeons.
It is not advisable to undergo only a tip rhinoplasty, since the entire projection of the nasal tip and the hump and the wide bridge will also need to be addressed as well. The side profile photograph also demonstrates a weak and recessive chin profile, so consider a chin implant as well.
Based upon the photos you provided, I believe you may be a candidate for Rhinoplasty with nasal tip refinement. If you like your bridge, then it is possible to address the tip only. Reducing a bulbous nasal tip requires defatting the excess fibrofatty tissue and adding support structures. I highly recommend you have an in person consult with a board certified rhinoplasty surgeon - one with training and experience specific to the face - and one with numerous before/after photos with results you like. Request to have digital computer imaging during your consultation so you can get a good idea of what your nose will realistically look like post surgery. This also helps establish an agreed upon game plan with your surgeon. Costs does vary by location and is based upon the Doctor's training, expertise and experience. Since this is surgery, and your face, I would not recommend price shopping in this case should you decide to move forward with the procedure. Good luck!Best,Dr. S
