Hi would like to know why my upper eyelids appear like this? I am 30 years old and this appearance has slowly happened over time where the volume has been disappearing. Now its completely sunken. How can restore my old look and add volume back ? Thanks

You definitely have hollow upper eyelids which can be improved with filler injection. You also have eyelid ptosis (droopy upper eyelids) which compounds the problem. See an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation.

There can be several causes for a sunken upper eyelid appearance: you may have developed a ptosis, which is a drooping of your eyelids due to a slipped or stretched muscle, underlying sinus infection, post traumatic fat atrophy to name a few. Or, it just may be heredity or early aging changes. I would recommend a thorough evaluation by an oculoplastic surgeon to determine the cause and the best treatment plan. There are options for improvement, which may include fillers, fat transfer, ptosis repair or even sinus surgery. Good luck

thank you for your question and photo. I do see the changes that you are noticing. In my opinion, the best solution would be to correct some of the ptosis and use filler for the volume loss.
