11 months post op, one of the eyes still has some scar tissue. Is there something else I can do to reduce the bag/bump?

Dark under eye circles can make you look tired and older than you are. I would use a combination protocol that includes topical Melarase creams first, followed by a combination of injectable fillers, fractional laser, and RF to blend out the eyelid hollowness and tighten the skin.

Thank you for your question. Typically scars and subtle irregularities will continue to improve for a year or more after surgery. I would ask your surgeon about possibly injecting 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) either by itself or in combination with the steroid that you have already had injected. 5-fluoruracil can be safely injected every couple weeks. I often will inject every 2-3 weeks and instruct patients to give the area of concern gentle massage. As long as the area continues to improve, conservative therapy with injections and massage is the best option.
