I am considering a fat reduction with Vanquish while I am having vitiligo. Is there any danger in spreading of vitiligo?

I am considering a fat reduction with Vanquish. I have vitiligo on hands, face, legs and genitals. Could the treatment cause a spread in vitiligo?

The ideal hydration level is 40% and up. This can be determined using a bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) scale. We have treated patients with low hydration levels and they have still seen great results. However, the results of each patient may vary.

Vanquish is not recommended while breastfeeding.  I would discontinue your treatment until you are no longer breast feeding, and I would recommend letting your pediatrician know. Congratulations on your new baby. Dr. M
