Thank you for your question. Depending on what you are treating and the intensity of your treatments, it is usually between 4-6 weeks. Your doctor will determine the number of treatments recommended based on your individual procedure goals and overall health of your skin. Typically most patients receive a series of 3 procedures spaced out about 4 weeks apart.
I appreciate your question. We schedule patients about 4 to 6 weeks a part between treatments. Sometimes, it depends on the type of skin you have....Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
You should plan your sessions 3-4 weeks apart. I think using PRP gives a nice finish but it depends on what your problem is. Also the type on pen and settings means the most. Get a proper consultation and see what your options are. Hope this helps. JB
This is a good question! It varies by the provider but we usually wait 3-4 weeks as this is the amount of time for a full turnover of the top layer of the skin, the epidermis. However, if you notice your skin feel still feels rough or not healed you may need to wait a little longer like 4-6 weeks. An open dialogue with your treating physician is most important. Make sure you seek treatment from a Board certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon.
We do microneedling with lasers and often separate treatments by 3-6 weeks. You can do them as early as weekly if you are healed. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello debbielm,You can retreat the area at 4 weeks. You want to allow enough time in between for the skin to heal. I always recommend using PRP with all microneedling treatments.Best to you, Dr Faraz
In our practice we do treatment 4-6 weeks apart. Unless patient needs a longer recovery time then we do 6-8 weeks. Most patients have very minimal recovery time since we use growth factors post procedure to speed up the healing time.
Microneedling using PRP is a great treatment to improve skin texture, fine lines, pigmentation and scars. Since every patient has a different need, you should ask the physician performing the treatment. In my practice I usually perform microneedling 3 to 4 weeks apart.
Depending on your skin type and concerns I recommend waiting 4-6 weeks between microneedling appointments. This allows for proper skin cell turnover and healing.
Good afternoon and thank you for your question! We recommend that patients wait four to six weeks between treatments, however, you can treat as early as three weeks if your skin is completely healed. We like the skin to go through at least one cell turnover cycle (typically every four weeks) between treatments. Best of luck! For more information, please feel free to visit our website!
Hi @jgbwmh. I would recommend waiting until you have completed the full course of antibiotics. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
