Thank you for your question. Typically antibiotics in and of themselves are not a contraindication to having a microneedling treatment. The important question is why are you on the antibiotic? If the antibiotic was prescribed to treat an active skin infection, you should wait until that infection completely resolves and consult with your physician before undergoing any elective microneedling treatment. Additionally, I defer microneedling treatments if patients present with active upper respiratory tract infection or sinus infection until they are resolved. I hope this helps.
