I have this bump (not bone because it is not in the bridge) and I wonder what it is. It is kinda soft and you can push it. My rhinoplasty was over a year ago so the swelling is down
Answer: Rhinoplasty It’s either just the shape of your cartilage or it could be a cartilage graft. It’s worth finding out from your surgeon if you had a cartilage graft placed there

Answer: Revision Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos this bump on your nose is cartilage. It is misplaced after the surgery. You need a revision rhinoplasty surgery to fix this bump. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: Bump on mid-third of the nose You need to ask the surgeon what it could be. Without feeling it, and reading the surgeon's notes and seeing an operative diagram, I can't tell, and even then it might not be possible to know.It might be a graft that is loose, (such as a "spreader graft" that was not sutured securely in place.

Answer: Irregularity on the bridge of the nose Thank you for your question and sharing your photograph. The image suggests a cartilage irregularity, most likely from the left upper lateral cartilage. It should be possible to correct this surgically but it is unlikely to improve spontaneously. I I suggest to discuss your concerns with your surgeon as it may be possible to do this as an office-based intervention depending on how their practice is set up.

Answer: Bump on nose Hello. Thank you for the question. It is difficult to say with any certainty what this is based only off of the photo. Your surgeon will be the best person to identify what this is. There are many possible causes of a residual bump following rhinoplasty. It could be scar tissue, a piece of cartilage or a cartilage graft. I would recommend seeing your surgeon to get a more definitive answer as to what this is. Good luck!

Answer: Scar after rhinoplasty Only on the basis of in person examination it can be decided what kind of bump that is. It may, most likely, be a deep scar or irregularities of soft tissue underneat; possibly bone dust surrounded with scar, cartilage? Evaluation by your surgeon would be the best starting point. Injection of corticosteroid may help to soften and diminish the bulk of lesion. Good luck.
