In some cases, it can take up to 18 months for your nose to settle completely. My suggestion is to wait a little bit longer. When your year is up, you can go back to your surgeon and see if he recommends a steroid injection for the swelling. Good luck

It helps if you place tapes over your nose in the fashion you had it done after surgery. That can control any kind of swelling if applied for longer period like 4-6 weeks. Hope that helps.

Rhinoplasty is a traumatic procedure, as it involves stripping the skin and soft tissues away from the nasal bones as well as breaking the bones and removing segments of cartilage. The postoperative swelling provides nutrients to the healing tissues. Following the procedure, it may take 12-18 months for this process to subside. The nasal tip is notorious for taking the longest time.
Consider a degree of head elevation when in bed until the swelling subsides.
Continue follow up care with your plastic surgeon.
