Based on your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. There is a small bump to take down, and the tip can be shortened and brought up some to refine the shape and make it smaller. When that is healed, if the lip is still an issue, a lip lift can be performed to make the upper lip appear more youthful. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

Hi there. Thanks for the question. I am not aware of a single procedure that will address both of your concerns. A rhinoplasty or "tip-plasty" will certainly help lift and refine your tip, and prevent it from plunging when smiling, but won't do much for dental show while smiling. Your lips appear to be much fuller now than when you were younger, so I wonder if you have had lip filler. If that is the case, then that can be a big reason for less of your teeth showing when you smile. One easy correction for this is to dissolve the lip filler. Alternatively you may be a candidate for what is called a lip lift.

It does appear that your tip of your nose has become slightly more ptotic or droopy as part of the aging process. This can result in loss of the appearance of the upper lip as the tip of the nose can make it appear that you have less upper lip. Also, as we age there is some thinning of the red upper lip as well. You can certainly do a limited tip rhinoplasty to raise your tip slightly and shorten the length of your nose. You may also consider some upper lip augmentation to increase the amount of red lip show as well. I would recommend consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon in your area.

It would be best to address this issue with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty. Tip can be turned up and stabilized to avoid drooping. Smile situation needs to be evaluated and possibly lip lift considered, with excision of muscle. Hope this helps. Good luck.

You are a good candidate fir a rhinoplasty. I would do it closed. Make sure your surgeon has a strategy to raise your tip. I’ve seen too many rhinoplasties left too long and I can see that happening in you if not properly addressed

For this type of nose, bony and cartilage reduction is required. Maybe alar base surgery will help to make a smaller shape with the rhinoplasty.

Good Morning! Thanks for your question. For an overprojected tip which tends to "tent" the upper lip, there are options. Often times, we deproject the nose or make it closer to the face. By doing so, relaxation of the upper lip can be achieved. Adding some degree of rotation and adjustment of the infratip may help the teeth show. The two approaches mainly used are the open vs the closed. I feel open allows for greater precision with deprojection in rhinoplasty.
