When trying to obtain quote for BBL, doctor said I need tummy tuck. Would this be required? 113 lbs. - no lose skin (Photos)

Thank you for sharing your question and pictures. Your surgeon advised the tummy tuck, like you said, to target the abdominal muscle. By doing so, you will have a flatter stomach (the muscle separation creates a rounder look). But if you are not bothered by it, you don't have to do a tummy tuck. You can simply do a lipo 360 and BBL, but you will not have a totally flat stomach. It's all about your expectations and goals.

Thank you for the question. Based on the pictures it looks like you are a liposuction with BBL candidate but I will need to evaluate in person to check the abdominal weakness if this is the case you might need a tummy tuck as well to repair the muscles.

A tummy tuck is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen. It also strengthens the abdominal muscles. There are several variations based on the patient's needs and expectations such as abdominal lipolysis, abdominal diastasis repair, skin removal with umbilical reconstruction, and so on. I believe that the best possible result is from liposculture where we take out fat from all parts of the body to make it more harmonious and transferring your own fat to the glutes to give it more volume. After each pregnancy the muscle get stretched and never goes back to its normal, plus visceral fat makes the appearance of protruding. Your skin appears not to be saggy because of the protruding abdominal wall, after the tightening of the muscle and reduction of fat, your abdominal skin will be saggy.
I agree with your doctor about you being a great candidate for Tummy tuck, muscle repair and liposuction to waist and lovehandles.
If you don’t want a Tummy tuck, you must accept the fact you may end up with saggy skin, possibly lumpy appearance and still protruding.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Hello, thanks for your question and photos. First, nobody needs a Tummy Tuck. It's a personal decision depending on your esthetic goals. I understand what your doctor said. If you have a Lipo, you may get saggy skin in your torso, abdomen, and waist, so it's a good idea to have abdominoplasty to repair abdominal muscles and get the best results. Good luck!

The best recommendation is a tummy tuck because although you don't have so much sagging skin now, at the moment where the fat that is under the skin and that serves as support is extracted, you will have sagging skin if you only do lipo, also due to previous pregnancies you have to repair the rectus abdominis muscles to achieve a flat stomach

You would have a much better result by doing the tummy tick first because after 4 babies you have ver loose abdominal muscles ((diastasis) which is causing the pooch. This won’t be fixed by liposuction.
Follow the tummy tick with the bbl with abdominal etching in 6 months

Reviewed your excellently posted photos. I agree with you in that you do not need a full TT. My issue is were you seen and examined in person by a boarded PS? Or was this a virtual consult with the surgeon or just a receptionist trying to add on un necessary surgeries? Only best to virtual with a boarded Plastic Surgeon!
