hello nix 50  Nipple surgery includes a number of surgical and nonsurgical procedures for the correction of inverted nipples, areola reduction, nipple enlargement and nipple repair from piercings or traumatic injuries.
Most of these procedures can be done in the office under local
anaesthesia with minimal or no down time and quick healing. Any of these
procedures may interfere with breast feeding so this must be considered

The first step is to go back to your Plastic Surgeon and express your concerns.  Depending upon how far out you are from surgery, the scarring will definitely improve over time but the flatness of the NAC may not.  There are various options to address this but this is really something that your surgeon should be approaching with you.I hope this helps and wish you the very best!-Gregory A Buford MD FACS Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author

from surgery, it's always best to discuss them with your surgeon as your surgeon should share the same desires for the best outcome possible.  Scars can always be revised.  Flat nipples can be grafted with fat if projection is desired.  And shapes can be tweaked as your tissue settles.  If nipples unresponsive to stimulation or lack sensation, there isn't much you can do for that.
