I lost about 60 pounds twice in my life. I've dieted for most of my life. I've noticed I've always had a double chin that looks more like a turkey neck than a voluminous double chin. Even at the age of 27-28 when I was losing weight. My chin had that turkey look already. Now at 34, my platysma bands easily pop out. It's made me insecure. I'm wondering if a deep plane neck lift is what I need. I also noticed my face and cheeks dragging down more at my age. I used to have voluminous chubby, round cheeks and now gravity makes me look older. Can someone explain why the platysma bands pop easily? Does this happen to ppl in their early 30s? Is it because I have PTSD and maybe tense my neck muscles often? Is it fascia? I've searched online and am confused. 100% set on getting a deep place facelift but I worry that the platysma bands popping out will appear again after a few years.

No that is not true. If the necklift is properly performed, the result can last for many years. Most patients do like to improve the jowls at the same time, which is why everything is usually done at once. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation.
Getting an advanced lower face/neck lift under local with a little iv sedation for complete comfort would be easy and make a huge improvement. It would really give you a nice sharp jawline and trim neck without that slope.
