I first had 360 lipo in 2019. Botched job - dents and laxity...I now want a bbl and a revision tummy tuck. 1) First, I want to do a second 360 lipo plus bbl. 2) Then, I want to go to a different doc to revise first two 360 lipos and tuck my tummy. I know people normally do both with the same doc, but I really to work with specialists in each category. Any issues with working with two different docs for my goals? Thanks!!!

Answer: Revisions of revisions Dear idance, Your plan is not a good one...unless you allow enough time between the second 360 liposuction and the TT revision, i.e. at least 6 months to see the results of the second liposuction. Those results could affect the need for, and/or technique used for the TT. Good luck!

Answer: Provider selection If you want quality assessment as suggested, including before, and after pictures. There are two variables that determine the outcome of most cosmetic surgical procedures. The first is patient candidacy, and the second is the choice of providers. You probably know from firsthand the importance of selecting the best providers. Some providers specialize in certain procedures, and I generally encourage people to seek the highest level of excellence, even if that means having multiple procedures and using different doctors. In the end, having different providers It’s not what’s important it is finding someone who has sufficient skill and experience. If I need, the right provider is more difficult than most people realize. From what I see famous is inversely correlated to talented in regards to being a talented surgeon. Patients often select providers for all the wrong reasons. People are often drawn to contacting providers with lots of reviews and strong social media presence. From my experience, the best plastic surgeons tend to be focused on taking care of patients not promoting their practice. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
