Would I be good candidate for alarplasty?

Hello, I have a bulbous nose but I like the tip for the most part. I like my nose in general it's just my nostrils that make my nose look bigger and it doesn't look right on me because I have a smaller mouth. I don't want to touch my tip just reduce the nostril width/ get them even. Would I be a good candidate for alarplasty?

Yes you are a good candidate for alarplasty alone.
Alarplasty is a very fine and quick procedure that can narrow the nostrils and reduce the flare to soften the appearance. It has other names as well like ‘Weir Excisions’ or ‘Nostril Reduction’. However, it is important to note that asymmetry of nostrils is common and cannot be corrected with alarplasty. Visit the alarplasty website to learn all about it.

You might be a candidate for an alarplasty but your limited photos  don’t show your nose in the context of the remainder of your face. If you do want it done bear in mind that many surgeons don’t like doing them or they make the sharp pasty so small that it dies very little

Aylar plasty: an alar plasty can always be performed as a separate procedure if you are happy with the tip and rest of your nose. Bear in mind that the nostrils should bear a Pyramidal type relationship to the tip when viewed from underneath which is called the basil view. you did not provide a basal view, which would be best for evaluating your nostril width , but from the photos you do submit it looks like the nostrils are excessively wide in relation to the tip, and therefore a nostril tuck could be performed if you wished.

It would be helpful to see a better set of pictures of your entire face and your entire nose to look at the relationship between how wide your nostrils are on your facial features and proportionate to your nose. An alar plasty simply involves removing a wedge of skin at the base of the nostrils and sewing it together. This effectively narrows the width of the nostrils. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. General anesthesiais not required
