How long after my microneedling appointment should I wait before getting a HydraFacial?

i was told i should wait a week before getting hydrafacial after microneedling, but is this safe or shall i still give my skin more time to heal?

Hello, I would suggest waiting at least two weeks after microneedling to do any other skin treatments.

Your skin should be healed from microneedling 7 days after the procedure. However, if you have concerns in regards to your skin's health, then you can wait two weeks prior to receiving a HydraFacial treatment.

We typically recommend spacing out these treatments to at least every two weeks, alternating between the two treatments.

Great question!  I recommend waiting at least 2 weeks to do a Hydrafacial in order to let the skin heal from the microneedling.  I think Hydrafacial is a great way to exfoliate and deeply hydrate the skin after the microneedling treatment.  Hope this helps!

Good question! Generally we have patients wait approximately 1 week between treatments , to let the skin heal . However if you are over 55 or have thin skin , or any skin healing disorders it is best to wait more that 1 week to have a HF treatment after a MicroNeedling service.

Hello, there are a few things to consider with this.  This would all depend on how deep the microneedling treatment was and how much your skin peeled from it.  I love to get a hydrafacial about ten days post microneedling to remove any remaining dead skin and give it some good hydration.  This will give you some seriously glowing skin.  Just make sure your skin is healed before going in for the hydrafacial.  Your esthetician should also be able to tell if your skin is compromised and if you need to wait.

You might want to error on the side of caution and wait at least 2 weeks after microneedling for your next procedure.  You can continue to see benefits from microneedling for a number of weeks after the treatment, so no need to over-do it.  Hope you enjoy your treatments!

Hi Myaa, generally we would wait at least 2 weeks after Hydrafacial and possibly 4 weeks after depending on the appearance of your skin. After microneedling you want to let the skin heal and encourage collagen production and not interfere too much, as a dermatology doctor my preference is Skin pen and ZO skincare after for recovery then Hydrafacial 4 weeks later.

I think it is best to wait 2 weeks after receiving a microneedling treatment before having a hydrafacial. This will allow your skin the ultimate time to fully heal from microneedling and receive the ultimate benefit from the hydrafacial treatment. Good luck!

Actually, the treatments can be combined into one super treatment. If you have the Microneedling done, we would recommend waiting 10 days to 2 weeks before an aggressive exfoliating treatment.
