Hi, thank you for your question. Due to there being no clinical studies done on pregnant and breastfeeding mothers it is advised from Hydrafacial to avoid treatment. The reason for that is due to the ingredients being used in the concentrated serum that may penetrate from skin to bloodstream. It is best to speak with your physician and see what they say. We recommend that you see a licensed aesthetician who is a hydrafacial specialist for these types of treatments.
Hi and thank you for your question! While HydraFacial is generally a very safe treatment, as a general precaution and out of abundance of caution we do not recommend performing any cosmetic medical treatments during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. These are all elective treatments than can wait for a few months and you can always resume them after you are done with breastfeeding. I hope it helps and good luck!
Hi! Thank you for the question. Hydrafacial can be modified and herbal products can be used in the protocol. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. While some providers may offer HydraFacial treatments to patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, there are ingredients used in the serums that are absolutely contraindicated. I recommend waiting to receive a HydraFacial until you are finished breastfeeding, just to be completely safe. There are many other facial options available that are safe to undergo during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so I would advise you to try those first. Good luck!
We do not recommend hydrafacial while pregnant or breastfeeding. It contains salicylic and glycolic acids which are contraindicated. These steps could of course be avoided but it would remove most steps of the facial. There are other facials better suited for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Breastfeeding is a contraindication of the Hydrafacial treatment due to the ingredients in the solutions used. Even if the chemical peel is avoided during the treatment, the solutions do contain potentially harmful ingredients. We do offer breast feeding friendly treatments and Skin Care regimes at the Cavendish Clinic. Consultations are complimentary.
Pregnancy and nursing are both contraindications for receiving the Hydrafacial treatment due to the chemicals used in some of the solutions of the treatment. The treatment can be altered to be safely administered while nursing or pregnant. The treatment is still great, but it will not be the same as the full array of solutions. There are other alternatives that may be offered.
Hello and thank you for your question. The hydrafacial contains salicylic acid and willow bark. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications and is not recommended to receive one. Other facials are appropriate and can be customized. Make sure and let your provider know you are breastfeeding.
Hydrafacial can be modified to use herbal products. Those are safe to use in pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Thanks for your question. Although ti is likely to be ok to have a HF whist pregnant or breastfeeding there have been no studies to show this. I would avoid as some ingredients are contraindicated during this time and you are better to wait to ensure there are no ill side effects
