I am a 22 year old female.Having a breakout for ard 2months mostly in cheek area.Currently started to use differin (adapaline 0.1%) gel for a week and had 1 hydrafacia combine with 20min of blue and red light therapy.Havnt seen any big improvement yet.The acid peel used in hydrafacial is 7.5% initially.I have received another treatment of hydrafacial of acid peel 15% in strength today.I m wondering will I benefit more from a 30% chemical peel?
Answer: A hydrafacial can help improve acne prone skin by providing a deep cleanse. Recommend also doing LaseMD. Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis. We see atrophic and hypertrophic scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to discuss the best treatment options for your type of skin. . Answer: Best Treatment for Acne We treat acne with both HydraFacial and Chemical Peels. In regards to HydraFacial, it does offer the option of 3 AHA strengths, 7.5%, 15% and 30%. Of the 3 concentrations the 7.5% GCA actually has the highest Salicylic acid combined at 2.5%. The others have a concentration of 1.5% of salicylic acid. Therefore, when treating acne it is best to use the 7.5%. The salicylic acid is needed to treat the acne. I would suggest adding blue light to your treatment. This helps to kill the bacteria that is contributing to acne. Treating once a month until the acne is under control would be best.Hope this is helpful

Answer: Hydrafacials and acne... Hydrafacials are excellent at treating acne. If you can tolerate the 30% AHA MD peel then I would recommend it. However, the MD peel is only offered in doctors offices that carry the Hydrafacial. It also depends on what you are using for your daily routine at home and I would suggest that you discuss this with your Hydrafacial provider. Also, I would suggest using the Cutera's new AviClear laser for acne treatment. In three sessions, 1 month apart you will see an improvement in acne by 92%. It is cleared in Canada for the treatment of acne scaring as well. We have seen that AviClear will reduce pore size and improve skin texture with skin tightening too. Its an exciting new treatment the future of clear skin for acne sufferers.

Answer: 7.5% is best for oily/acneic skin. Hello, believe it or not the 7.5% is the best option for you because it has the highest concentration of salicylic acid which is best for treating oily/acneic skin. The 15 and 30% hydrafacial peels have a higher concentration of glycolic acid which is better for dry/aging skin and these peels have lower concentrations of salicylic acid. Also, make sure you're going somewhere that is doing manual extractions with the hydrafacial and use a good skin care regimen at home.

Answer: HydraFacial for Acne I recommend that you see a medical provider for your HydraFacials & that you have a clarifying HydraFacialMD treatment (30% glycolic, salicylic combination) or that you have a deeper peel. I also recommend that you work in tandem with the medical provider to develop an ongoing treatment & prevention protocol to manage the acne, which will necessarily involve further investigation into its causes. Your acne may not simply be acne. It may have hormonal or infectious causes that are not properly treated with blue light therapy or differin. I recommend that you see a medical provider only & not receive treatments from aestheticians, if your desire is to have true resolution of your concern.
