Does Juvederm travel more easily outside the lip than Restylane?

Question

I read that Juvederm lip filler is less thick than Restylane and therefore distributes more easily. If that is the case could it also travel outside the lip especially above the upper lip more easy than Restylane if one follows that logic? I definitely want to avoid the puffy look above my top lip when getting them filled again.

Neither of these fillers will migrate if they are administered by an experienced provider. The two fillers are very similar in consistency and the results they produce. Both lines also feature filler formulations specifically designed to enhance the lips. As long as you work with a qualified, experienced injector, you should get an excellent result from either one.

There are various fillers in both the Juvederm and Restylane product lines with varying thicknesses.  Neither would be more prone to migrate outside of the injected area.  The puffy look that you are wanting to avoid is usually related to injector technique versus the product migrating.  Be sure to see an experienced injector for your treatment.

Hello and thank you for your question. Both of these filler have similar properties as far as thickness. Neither of these would travel outside of the lip.
