Can I massage the vermilion border to soften Juvederm?

Thankyou for your question.Realistically the product should not be hard after 3 weeks nor should you feel lumps. The science shows that the filler cannot be massaged after 7-9 days . i would go back to your injector and be reviewed as 2 weeks is maximum for swelling to settle.The  injector may need to dissolve some of the product.Good luck

Massage is always great after fillers to help even them out. As well, massage (particularly deep tissue massage) seems to also speed up the breakdown of the fillers. obviously, listen to your body and if your lips are becoming irritated from massage, then you should probably do less. if the lips continue to be an issue, you may wish to see your doctor about other options.
