Question

OK so ever since I was about 10 years old I noticed I was starting to grow a hump on my nose. Since then I wanted to get rid of it. I have a hump on my nose. Where the hump is on the sides it goes wider. The tip of my nose is very fat. Very" bulbous " or however you spell it. Also at the top part of the tip of my owe it's uneven. On one side it seems I have a dent and the other side it rises up. I want that evened out too. My nose looks crooked. The end sides of my nose I believe are too high.

Dear aryam01, Your current concerns with your nose could be addressed with rhinoplasty surgery. The dorsal hump would be reduced, the bulbous tip refined and your nose straightened. You did not provide a profile view however from the front view it appears you may have a slightly weak chin which may also need addressing with a small implant to bring a nice balance to your profile and overall facial aesthetics. This would be determined at the time of consultation. During consultation an intra-nasal examination would be performed to check for deviation of the septum which may be causing part of the crooked appearance of your nose. If you do have a deviation and this is causing breathing issues then this portion of your procedure may be covered by insurance. Every surgeon has a different pricing category and this is usually determined after your consultation. Personally, I do have a rhinoplasty special for realself patients. If you read your local surgeons reviews on realself and a large portion of those are regarding rhinoplasty surgery then you will have a good idea that the surgeon denotes a large portion of their practice to this speciality. Once you determine you have found some expert surgeons then seek consultation with these surgeons. At consultation you can have digital imaging performed which will show you the proposed surgical results and ensure you and your surgeon are on the same page. After this you can review many before and after photographs and see similar noses of your own to make sure the surgeon performs natural looking rhinoplasty results. Once these steps are taken you can make an informed decision on your choice of surgeons.
