Can vomiting 3-4 hours after Juvederm being placed in the lips mess anything up? Can you vomit Juvederm up?

Hello there. Juvederm is injected into the lip tissues, so there is no way that you vomited it up. As to the swelling change, it takes two weeks for lip filler to heal/assimilate, so there is no need to panic at this time. Give yourself time to heal from this illness, and give your lips time to settle down. If you still notice asymmetry, I would recommend following up with your injector. Good luck and feel better! The good thing is that unless you drank the Juvederm, there's no way it could travel and get into your stomach. As to your mysterious swelling resolution, the body can do weird stuff! My thought is that it was a temporary shift in focus from healing the area of filler (which our body can manifest as swelling), to your illness. Keep an eye on everything and notify your injector if anything worries you more. Best  of luck!

Hi! The Juvederm didn't affected your stomach, maybe you reacted that way because your were nervous about the injection but don't worry, you will be fine. If you still sick, please visit your doctor for further instructions.

There is no possibility of your filler to end up outside the natural tissue borders. One thing to remember is that Juvederm and similar hyaluronic acid based fillers requires fairly good hydration. If, by any chance, your acute illness resulted in volume depletion that filler may not be fully expanded. The initial lip volume you see after injection is related to tissue injury and does not represent the final results. So, stay hydrated and monitor your lip for several days. Good luck!
