3 days post opt and very sad looking breasts. Any suggestions?

I do think you will look better once the drains are removed, but it is unlikely you will look like your picture from ten years ago.  Many women have significant changes in their breasts with age, especially if there was a pregnancy.  I would recommend waiting at least 3-4 mo before rushing into anything.  Jane

it could well be that the vacuum of the drain is causing that concavity of your breasts but it is way to early to assess at the moment. They will take months to settle. Try not to worry

Thank you for posting your questions and photos. At this point it is too soon to tell what your final result will be. You need to allow your body to heal completely before seeing your final result, which can take up to 6 months. It's best to remain patient through this process. Best of luck with your recovery.

Thank you for your question and photos.You will find that they will take several months ( 3 to 6 months) for the breast to “bounce back” and for you to see the final result.  At this point, it is much too early in the recovery.You may find the attached link, dedicated to breast implant removal surgery concerns, helpful to you. HI - Yes, the drain is clealry visible throught the skin. It will look better when removed. Otherwise it is the same answer as in Novemeber.  You will not be able to be too saggy as there will not be too much breast to sag. Will they look bad? Only you can say after they settle.They will not be bigger than the original size.See my photos on my site for a better understanding of what an old capsule looks like when removed. You will see that with my technique there is little breast tissue removed. If you breasts are soft you may simply remove the implants and leave the capsule. You can live with them for a while and decide later if you would like a modern implant placed which will give you a beautiful natural comfortable feeling.

Give yourself time to heal, then you might consider smaller gel implants. Your doctor can help you make the decision.

The drains are suction drains which make the breasts look more concave, this part will improve once the drains are out. The remainder of the breasts will stay loose and empty. It takes a few months for you to see the final outcome, if you are still unhappy reconsult with a board certified plastic surgeon to see what your options are.

After your drains are removed and you are healed, you will get a better idea on how you will look in the long term.  If you are unhappy, smaller implants could be an option for you.
