I am about two and a half weeks post op from my labiaplasty procedure with Dr. Sudarsky but can already attest that my life has been positively impacted forever. She is an absolute genius as I trusted no one but her for this procedure after years of research. I consulted with two top surgeons specializing in this procedure and decided on Dr. Sudarsky because she is personable, attentive and her results were exactly what I was looking to achieve. She was very honest about results that I would have by choosing the wedge or trim method and I felt very confident both choosing her as my surgeon and the method that I opted to have (I went with the wedge). The surgery itself was not difficult to go through. Maximum pain was about a 3/10 - was just nervous about resting as much as possible and following routine to get the best results. But the end result is to say lightly life-changing. I no longer have to tuck and am finally comfortable in my own skin for the first time in my life. I am more confident, have no issues wearing the clothing that I have always wanted to wear and the aesthetic result is more than I could have ever dreamed of for myself. Please see the photos attached for my before and after. I am still recovering but think these are helpful to those considering the wedge labiaplasty procedure.
Dr.Sudarsky was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and responsive. She made me feel comfortable at all times, answered all of my questions, never made me feel rushed, and even called me on a Sunday to check in with me to see how I was feeling. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt like I was at the right place and everyone in the office was kind and professional. I highly recommend her and would go back to her for other future procedures as I am more than pleased.
am a guy, who 2 weeks ago got a Basal Cell Carcinoma prognosis on my upper lip, that resulted in a 4 hrs surgery that removed 50% of my upper right lip! Then I was transferred to Dr. Sudarsky's office where she performed the reconstructive plastic surgery! With the assistance of her lovely and caring staff, from the front desk to the assistant nurses, it was the most pleasant experience in my situation. A couple days ago the stitches were removed and you can BARELY see the HUGE scar, that should fade away in a couple of years. Dr. Sudarsky is an ARTIST! No side effects, minimal to no pain and if I may say, she is COOL! Love Dr. Sudarsky!
I've wanted to get a labiaplasty for the past 10 years. Ever since I was a preteen I hated my labia. Now at 31 I finally got it done! It seemed like one of those things I'd only dream of doing but never actually do. But when I got to age 30 I decided it's time to start making some of those dreams come true which included taking better care of myself and making myself look and feel the best I can be. Which included getting my labiaplasty! I had it done this past Friday and already it looks amazing. There was practically no bruising at all and the swelling was also minimal. It looks really healthy and normal colored, no Frankenstein job here, and has barely bled at all since having the procedure done. I only needed my labia minora reduced so I got the wedge technique and it looks perfect. It is so cute, I can't even believe this vagina is mine! I saw Dr. Sudarsky in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is a 5 star top doctor here on Real Self and specializes in labiaplasty. She has almost 30 years of experience as a plastic surgeon and is an award winning prestigious doctor who has worked around the world treating women and children and was chief of plastic surgery at Good Samaritan hospital in New York. She founded Esse Plastic Surgery in Florida which is by far the most impressive medical clinic I've ever been to. It's beautiful, very feminine, and very professional. I've seen a lot of labiaplasty horror stories so I wanted to see the best surgeon in Florida and cost was not an issue. If you're getting a labiaplasty it's absolutely imperative you go to the best of the best. Save up your money, don't settle for a cheap doctor because you get what you pay for and you will be devastated if your vagina gets botched, not to mention how bad recovery can be with a botched labiaplasty. I also wanted a female doctor. To me that was very important because not only did it make me feel more comfortable but also gave me peace of mind seeing a doctor who specializes in women's anatomy which she can relate to and understand better than a man, being that she is also a woman with the same anatomy. Her bedside manner was outstanding, she genuinely cares for her patients and listens to them. Very down to earth and gives you a great sense of calm and peace of mind. She'll go out of her way to call you personally even on the weekend to check on you. I'm going to do a doctor review on here for her too separate from this one. Here I just wanted to share my experience and say if you want a labiaplasty, definitely look into this doctor or find another top doctor like her. Do your research and you won't be disappointed! On that note, I do want to express my experience has not been perfect. The doctor was fantastic, her team at Esse and at the Surgery Center of Fort Lauderdale, where I had my procedure done, were all fantastic. But my own personal recovery has been a struggle. I've been in a lot of pain, even with the pain killers. I had a hard time taking the Percocet at first because it gave me a terrible headache the first 2 days. I switched to ibuprofen with the doctor's "ok" but she didn't want me to take too much because of the bleeding risk associated with NSAID drugs. So I switched back to the Percocet yesterday and been tolerating it better now. My biggest issue at the moment is the constipation. Partly it's from the Percocet but also it seems like the muscles down there are having a hard time working normally because of the strain on the wound area. Been drinking prune juice and taking Dulcolax and have barely gone #2 in 5 days!! So that is stressing me out because I don't want to strain the stitches and risk damaging anything. So my biggest difficulties in my experience have been suffering through the pain and problems going to the bathroom. Peeing isn't as bad, I'm able to urinate and it doesn't sting that bad when you squirt water on the vagina with the little water squirter thing they give you. But the muscles or whatever for peeing are also struggling to "turn on" like normal. It's like everything down there is going into safe mode because of the trauma to the vaginal area. But despite being in so much pain I can visibly see the whole area looks excellent and is healing smoothly. I may just be more sensitive to pain than others cause I've seen a lot of reviews where the women say they had minimal pain. Or it could be I'm experiencing more pain since I've had trouble taking the pain killers. Anyway, I unfortunately don't want to upload photos just because I have a visible tattoo in the area that heaven forbid someone would recognize! But it looks amazing and if anyone wants to see how it looks just look up Dr. Sudarsky and see her previous work, because it looks just as good. Hope my review helps! Wanted to include my struggle with going to the bathroom cause I had a hard time finding other reviews with the same problem. So if anyone else experiences that problem then know you are not alone!

I’am currently about 5 weeks post op and I could not be happier with my results. I was worried at first at how much time I would need off of work and how bad post op would be. I was pleasantly suprised at how quick and easy recovery was. I was only in slight pain the first two days and Dr. Sudarsky made sure to explain to me exactly what I would go through and was always realistic with what to expect. I had almost no bruising nor swelling since the surgery. I literally have been in love with how it looked since the day after surgery. If i had any questions or concerns I messaged Dr. Sudarsky and she was quick to respond which is rare these days and I hadnt experienced before with past surgeons. Also everyone at her office was super sweet and made me feel comfortable since my consultation. I feel like Dr. Sudarsky truly cared about my well being and my results. Im excited to continue healing and seeing my final outcome day by day. But I could not be happier with how different I look down there now. I was sooo emberassed before but now I feel like a whole new person. I contemplated this for years and i’m soo happy I finally went through with this. Im only in my low twenties but I knew since I was 18 that I hated my protruding labia. I’m glad I choose Dr . Sudarsky and I cant thank her enough for my awesome results! Once I receive my pre-op photos I will include but I have enclosed my beautiful results. So happy that my recovery thus far has been easy going. In week 3 I did have issues with what my dissolvable stitches getting tangled but Dr Sudarksy made sure to see me the next day to get resolved. Everything else has been better than what I had expected :)
Dr. Sudarsky I cannot begin to thank you for all of your stellar services and ultimate commitment to patient care and quality. Your kindness and caring revealed more than just a team "doing their job". Thank you for all you've done to help me through this journey. Tracy Milgram-Posner Previvors
Dr Sudarsky is a great doctor. She is warm, listening and very professional. She gives good professional advices and helps you keep realistic expectations on the result of surgery and other cosmetic treatments. I will keep seeking for her professional advices and expertise, and I do recommend her to anyone looking for a great surgeon.
I had my first set of silicone implants inserted in the late 80's at the age of 18. I was thin, athletic, lived on the beach and wanted larger breasts. I was a full A and went to a D. I lived happily with my implants for over 30 years. I had no discomfort, encapsulation or any complications other than needing a subsequent lift after having 2 children, and having a saline implant deflate after several years. After thinking about implant removal for many years, I hit age 50 and was simply done. That insecure 18-year-old girl no longer existed, I was an accomplished women whose value lay not in her breast size. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and could not be happier. I was worried how I might react to having small breasts after being large for more than half my life. While how I fit in clothes and swimsuits changed somewhat, I realized I could wear so many things that I couldn't before without looking obscene. My breasts are a full A, small B, and absolutely adorable! This has been a very empowering and liberating experience, not to mention how much more comfortable small breasts are. The surgery itself was quite easy. I am not able to tolerate pain medication and took only extra-strength Tylenol post-operatively. There was some soreness and itching, but nothing more.
I met with several area surgeons but I felt most comfortable when I discussed my surgery needed with Dr. Sudarsky. I felt she listen carefully, examined me and then explained all my options. I chose her for this important and hard surgery because she has done many of them and explained exactly what she would do. I felt very confident they she will do the very best procedure for me. I've had my breast procedure done and 60 days post, I am very happy with my look and the recovery was much better than I had expected with the lengthy surgery. They preformed it at the hospital next to their office, Imperial Point Medical, which was excellent and everything went very smooth! I would recommend you interview them and you'll be very pleased!
It is too early to decide you need a revision. Be patient and wait another month or two. However you should talk to your surgeon and discuss an in office revision if necessary which should not cost you much, in fact might be included in the global fee that insurance paid. That being said I have never heard of a labiaplasty being covered by insurance.
Axillary breast tissue is breast gland that is in the armpit. It often swells with your period. It can be mistaken for fat. Axillary breast tissue should be excised, fat can be liposuctioned or dissolved with Kybella injections. See a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more about your options.
Labiaplasty is not covered by insurance. Insurance companies don’t care about how your labia look or make you feel. I once had a patient who was a paraplegic, she had to sit in a wheelchair all day long, she developed wound breakdowns on her labia from the pressure of sitting on the labia and insurance would not even cover that . The cpt code used for billing is a cosmetic code, there isn’t another code other than vulvectomy which is a radical removal of a woman’s vulva for cancer that is covered by insurance .
During your preop visit it’s important to review the size of your breast implants for the augmentation. I find that many women change their minds right before surgery it is important to be prepared. In addition be sure to discuss any aspirin or Motrin that you might’ve taken, this causes bleeding and your surgeon needs to know about this. If you have any issues regarding postop nausea and vomiting now is the time to bring it up. It is also very important to address the postop care needed during this visit, so you can have everything that you need available at home.
Tummy tuck with liposuction of the back and flanks will reduce your waistline and flatten your stomach. Ideally your BMI should be under 30 to reduce your risk of complications. Seek the opinion of a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person exam and consultation.
