I am currently 87 days post op fue 3 days before the 3 month mark. I'm worried that my hair transplant is growing patchy? Other areas seem to be growing a lot more than others, some areas look completly bald and some look like quite a few hairs have grown in. I took a few whacks to the head in a boxing match 5 weeks after fue and 8 weeks after fue which cause minor grazing of recipient area and I'm worried that growth will be effected

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

Regrowing hair is thin, undersized and not bright untill 4-5 th months of hair transplant. İt's normal for new growing hair starting to get native characteristics, waviness, curl in first 4-5 months..This actually takes 10-13 months for hair to become full mature , as thick and bright  as native hair.

It is much too early to assess your results and it is not unusual for some grafts to start growing sooner than others.  Give it a full 8-12 months.
It is not likely that boxing 5 weeks out caused damage; had it been within the first week or two I'd be more concerned.

Not many of my patients start boxing after their procedure, but luckily the grafts were secure by week five and it's unlikely that your time in the ring will cause any growth problems. It is still very early and your grafts have only just started to grow, so it is to be expected that the recipient area will look patchy at this stage. You should see a lot of growth start to happen very soon, but remember that it can take a full 12 months for the final result to be seen.

Hair growth often does not come in even and some patch growth at 3 months is nothing to worry about. By the 8th month you will see 80% of the growth to styling length
