I did take good care of my recipient area which included spraying it every 60 minutes until now and spraying it with a different night time spray when I went to sleep and washing it using the bowl method on day 4 as instructed.

Answer: Scabbing Post-Op This appears normal. Usually excess scabbing occurs when patients are too gentile washing the grafts. For the next 3-4 days continue with the bowl washing, the scabs will eventually come off. The hardest thing for many patients is to keep from picking at the grafts.

Answer: Scabbing after FUE It is normal to form scabs around the grafts in the recipient zone. Each of those grafts are inserted into an opening which is made by a small blade or small needle. As your scalp heals, a scab is formed. I would continue to follow closely with your surgeon and follow all postoperative instructions. Good luck!
