FUE - 7 months post-op with minimal growth. Why am I seeing no growth on the right side?

I had 1100 grafts placed in the front area and I'm only seeing a little growth on the left side with almost no growth on the right side. After 7 months, I expected more growth and I'm concerned. I expressed this to my doctor and he told me to be patient but after 7 months I'm genuinely concerned. Also, why am I seeing no growth on the right side?

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor

Regrowing hair is thin, undersized and not bright untill 4-5 th months of hair transplant. İt's normal for new growing hair starting to get native characteristics, waviness, curl in first 4-5 months..This actually takes 10-13 months for hair to become full mature , as thick and bright as native hair.

It typically takes 8-12 months for you to see your final results and though there is usually a fair amount of new hair at seven months it is not unusual for there to be little growth at this time.

You should see some results by 7 months. It does take a full year to see full results. Some people do take a little longer to see any growth however. PRP works good in these cases to stimulate hair growth. If you trusted your doctor enough to perform the surgery, you need to trust them enough when they tell you about post op expectations. Everyone is asymmetric as well and it is not uncommon to see more growth on one side when compared to the opposite side. Hopefully this works well for you and make sure to continue to follow up with your doctor and monitor progress.

It is unusual not to see significant growth at 7 months., Wait another 2 months and if there is still a problem go back and speak with your doctor
