Can the dorsal hump airway structure be rebuilt?
I want my dorsal hump back, but not just the shape, also the inner airways, sincy my breathing became worse. Therefore I want to widen my nasal walls again, and fill in the missing part of the dorsal bone with either cartilage , 3D-printed PCL, 3D-molded bone paste/matrix, or as a newer technology that will hit clinical trials soon: dECM bone scaffolds that are 3D shaped and encourage bone growth and vascularization. With this, the nasal walls are supported by a new 'bone' that heals in place. I don't mind wearing splints for 6 weeks if that is what it takes to heal the bones in the right places without additional grafts, but there must be a way to restore the complete, old shape of the inner airways in a revision (that aims to restore the old outer shape of the nose too).
