If I got a steroid shot in my spine would that affect Botox results if they were done a week or so apart?

I  often asked if patients are taking medications with their Botox be affected. And injection into your spine for pain or inflammation will  not affect your Botox. Botox in general only has a local effect and does not travel far. Even though some studies demonstrate that Botox may travel out of the area that it was injected,it is not clinically relevant at this time. 

Rest assured that your botox results will not be effected by the steroid injection to your spine.

An epidural steriod injection performed a week or so apart from Botox treatments will not alter your results.

There is not contraindication for having these injections. I wouldn't worry about it whatsoever.
