Should I be worried? I notice some sore and tenseness in my jaw area but nothing painful or affecting my eating habits. Should I continue to wait? (This is my first botox injection)

Answer: Assuming you received the right dose, it takes about 3-4 weeks to see the result. I typically use 20-40 units of botox split between the two Masseter muscles. It also has to actually be injected into the muscle. Please consider reposting in that time frame and lets us know how you have done.
