If Botox migration occurs within the first day (4-6hrs), why do adverse effects occur days later?

I am reading testimonials about botox migrating outside of the intended treatment area and causing adverse effects anywhere from 5-12 days later. If adverse effects can occur 5-10 days later, why is it recommended that exercise, laying flat, wearing hats, etc. be avoided only for the first day?
