I am 48. I got my implants when i was 21. I have not had any problems at all. I even breastfed my 2 kids. Here recently, i have noticed a hardening in my right breast. I believe I may have capsular contracture in that breast only. I am looking into getting an exchange with a lift Can you please tell me what the lrice is on this typpe of surgery? Thank uou so much for youur knowledge and precious time!
Answer: Implant exchange with lift Dear Amber Killian, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Answer: Exchange with Lift You need to see a well trained plastic surgeon for an evaluation. I would recommend a revisionary surgery that would treat the breast ptosis (sagging) with a lift, new implants, and possible capsulectomy (removing the capsule) if indicated from capsular contracture. I cannot make any official recommendations without an exam or digital encounter. Regardless you need to see a very well trained American Board of Plastic Surgery certified plastic surgeon. Ideally, this surgeon has also completed an Aesthetic Society endorsed aesthetic fellowship as well.

Answer: Breasts Prices do vary depending upon what part of the country you live. Since you are sagging, I do recommend going with something smaller so that the lift holds up longer. Sometimes mesh is needed, and this will add to the price. Go visit with a surgeon in your area.

Answer: Breast revision Thank you for your question. Many years ago, I pioneered a technique specifically for patients like you termed "Reductive Augmentation". This involves an internal bra-capsulorrhaphy, mastopexy-lift, and excision of the lower pole breast tissue. You should be able to have a beautiful appearing breast with this technique. Best wishes to you.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method Your breasts are much too low on the chest wall. I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
