Answer: Fat transfer for forehead dents--water-assisted harvesting, prp Yes, this can be improved with either fat transfer or fillers. Keep in mind, fat transfer technique is important for successful fat transfer. Answer: Skull Dent Repair Fat injections are not a good technique for any form of skull augmentation as they will not persist. There are variety of more effective materials to use for specific skull dents that can be placed through fairly small scalp incisions which would be critical in the male patient where the hair cover may be more challenging.

Answer: Dented head fat transfer is not a good option for what you were trying to achieve. The irregularities you referred to as dense are based on your facial skeletal contour. My suggestion would be filling the defects with methylmethacrylate through an open incision made in the scalp so it is not visible. Fillers could use but they are temporary and will cost many thousands of dollars over lifetime requiring treatments every 3 to 6 months to maintain an accurate look . Custom silicone implants could be an option but methylmethacrylate it’s time proven . Fat transfer will fail. There’s not a sufficient amount of tissue to graft into. The back surface will be bone which gives no vascularity to the grafted fat.Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
