Frequent coughing after tummy tuck w/ muscle repair, what can I do?

5 day post tummy tuck w/ repair. Hair like tickle in the back of my throat causing frequent coughing fits. The pain is so intense...HELP! Is this normal? What can I do to alleviate this sensation in my throat! I’m terrified to cough!!!!

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Each surgeon will aspirate differently but in general a small amount of numbing medicine can be used to introduce the larger needle required to drain a seroma.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Whether due to anesthesia or the stress of surgery your menstrual cycle can become irregular for several months.  If there is no other physical reason for having bled I would reach out to your ob/gyn for an in-person evaluation.  Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for reaching out.  It is possible that your muscles are going thru spasm during orgasm.  The best advice it to take it easy and listen to your body.  If it hurts don’t do it and give you body some more time.I hope this helps. :)
