There is something that feels like plastic and seems to go around my BA incision. (Photos)

Hello, sometimes one of the sutures normally buried under the skin will come to the surface before it dissolves away.  If you contact their surgeon they will be able to assess this and if necessary they will trim the suture.

While this is certainly not uncommon, you look to be having a spitting stitch (which is merely a suture that has made it's way to the surface prior to dissolving.) Contact your surgeon's office to schedule a quick visit to have this clipped and removed. Good luck and congratulations again! 

I use dissolvable stitches under the skin to close breast augmentation incisions. These types of sutures feel like plastic, or fishing line. Occasionally, the end of one of those stitches can poke through. If it's at the end of the incision, it may have been done on purpose depending on the closure technique. In general it may fall out on its own soon, but if not, your plastic surgeon can trim it or remove it quickly and painlessly. 

It looks like you have some suture material that is exposed.  It should either fall off on its own or your surgeon can snip it off to you.  This is not an uncommon experience and should not hinder your final result!

This appears to be an exposed suture. This happens from time to time. This can be removed by your surgeon relatively easy.

What you are noticing is a stitch from your surgery. Contact your surgeon and they will be a will to remove it for you. The tiny hole will heal up quickly after the stitch is removed.

Sometimes skin reacts to foreign materials like sutures (this does not occur in all patients). The plastic thing that you see and feel its an end knot of a monocryl suture (dissolvable suture). The surgeon just has to cut it and that´s it don´t worry. Since the wound has healed and sealed it wont open. Hope this helps you on your question. Best regards.

This is consistent with the end of an absorbable suture. Make a follow up appointment and let your surgeon remove it for you. 

Thank you for your question.That is an end of the suture that is sticking out. If you feel comfortable trimming it down your self you could do so, or call the office and have them take care of it for you.
