Did the Botox cause drooping between my eyes??? (photos)

It is possible that not enough Botox was used on the glabella area [ between the eyebrows ] and or too much on the frontalis muscles on the forehead above the eyebrows . It could be corrected but it will require additional treatment and additional cost. Wishing you a speeding resolution to your mishap. 

It will take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox with results lasting 3-4 months. Botox can cause the eyebrows to droop, if improperly placed. This can be softened with venus legacy treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thanks for your question and photo – and we always recommend that these injections be given in the offices of a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon as we are the true experts here – and know how best to handle problems such as you are having.  You need to have some more Botox injected on the lateral sides of your forehead to address this Spock look you are showing.  This happens but can be dealt with by an expert injector – good luck.

The cause is most likely that the injections were not placed lateral enough. This is a common mistake and can make you look like the Joker. Thanks for your question.  I agree with the waiting period and at that time a small injection just lateral to the peak on the right brow should calm that down and give you symetry.  Remind your injector to note that so that on your next treatment in 3-4 months he/she can place a small amount of Botox in that area to prevent this again.  Hope this helps

The Spock effect may happen depending if the Botox was not injected lateral enough in your forehead (frontalis). The muscle in the area is now unopposed and can be more pronounced in some individuals. It usually requires a few units to calm down the effect of brow lift. I would follow-up with your injector to discuss a touch-up to address this concern. Best of luck!

It looks like you may need some additional Botox to weaken your brow elevators.  Someone with experience can straighten things out.  The brow depressors have been weakened with the Botox leaving the elevators unopposed. Speak to your injector about this.  If they can't offer you a solution, try. Someone else

This can happen when the brow is treated and Botox is placed in the medial part of the frontalis muscle . It can be fixed with a few units injected into the lateral side of the brow. You should return to your injector after 2 weeks and a simple touch up should remedy this issue 

What you have to understand is Botox relaxes the muscles in your face and those muscles are responsible for various facial expressions. From the picture, it looks to me that you need a touchup over your R brow to make it even with your other brow, however, even in your before picture your R brow lifts slightly higher than your left. However, a small touchup will even things out for you. You have the Jack Nicholson look because you need more Botox in the upper forehead. Call you physician and schedule a follow up appointment, its an easy fix. Good luck.
