I just got Juvederm injected into my nose. My nose isn't swollen. The doctor told me that I will see the final result after a few days to 1 week since Juvederm absorbs water from the tissues which might add a bit more volume. My question might be stupid but do you think it will help if I drink a lot of water so it adds more volume? Thank you.

Answer: Juvederm and water Good question, although Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler which will absorb water from the surrounding tissue, drinking more water is not going to give you added volume in the area. The only way to achieve more volume would be by getting additional filler into the area or using a higher volume filler such as Juvederm ultra plus or Voluma.

Answer: Juvederm and staying hydrated There is no evidence that drinking more water will make Juvederm absorb more water. The skin and other tissues are full of water and drinking more water should not make any difference. I do think that it's good for general health to stay well hydrated.
