I had a juvederm injection a couple of months ago into my "Marionette lines" and into my lower lip. About a month later, I developed a severe rash on my face in a butterfly pattern spreading down my chest but not in the area of the injection. The results of the biopsy revealed I had a contact dermatitis v. allergic reaction to medication.. She has given me a steroid cream and that seems to be helping. I have had juvederm before but not with numbing agent. Could the Juverderm injection cause the rash?

There are several products that cause bruising like fish oils, aspirin, Vitamin E and I would try to avoid them before the injections. The bruising and swelling will go away with time. If you are not happy after two weeks you should return to your treating physician.
